Breast cancer has impacted the lives of some of the women closest to me, whether it is Mom and Jo who have each gone through a tough fight or close friends who have lost their mother's to this horrible disease at way too young an age.  Now being at a certain age, I am grateful for the screening in place, (even if not the actual process!).  I can only hope that the progress continues so that there is even more hope for the girls in my life.   

An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.  

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
