Never in a million years did I worry about breast cancer as I have no family history of any type of cancer but at 48 I found a lump to later be diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer… the truth is 1 in 8 of us are going to be diagnosed in our lifetime!!!

As a Breast cancer survivor and thriver, I am finally cancer free and well enough to participate and fundraise for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. This is one way I can give back and advocate for a cure, better screening and self advocacy.

Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease. Please help me exceed my fundraising goal!

I believe better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible. Together, we can give Canadians impacted by breast cancer a reason to have hope. And we can help change the future for all.
