Earlier this year my world was rocked when I was diagnosed with Stage III Breast Cancer.    To say I was shocked is an understatement...it's just starting to feel "real"!  My treatment plan is as aggressive as my cancer lol  With 2 surgeries under my belt, I started 8 rounds of chemotherapy in June.  Chemo is expected to be done in September, followed by 1 month of radiation, followed by years of hormone therapy.     Recieving this cancer diagnosis has completely changed my life.   Devastating, yes.  But in the spirit of finding the silver lining it has also helped me realize how much I love my life, the people that surround me & to find the beauty in this world.  Raising funds for this cause not only helps me, it helps all people dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis.   Along with research, the funds go towards wigs, breast prosthesis, mastectomy supplies, transportation, lodging for those that need to travel for treatment.   A little goes a long way & every little bit helps xo
