Hi! Madeleine here! 

Over the past three years, breast cancer has profoundly affected my family.  While I’ve always known how widespread this disease is—affecting 1 in 8 Canadian women during their lifetime—I never fully understood the uniquely difficult and painful journey that breast cancer patients endure until I witnessed it firsthand.  And now I’m turning my focus to the future, hoping for the health and well-being of my daughters, neices, and women in my life.  

To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer each year, I’m participating in and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.  With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a meaningful difference in the lives of many.
