Dear colleagues, friends, and family,

Please join me on Sunday October, 6, 2024 in the CIBC Run for the Cure in support of breast cancer. An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada. I am participating because I believe it’s time to find a cure for all cancers.

My father, grandfather, and mother-in-law died from cancer and my mother and wife are cancer survivors. I also lost a work colleague who died from breast cancer at the age of 40. As you can see, this walk/run is very personal for me and I look forward to walking with survivors and those who are in recovery.

Please join me on October 6th by participating in the 5K or 1K run, walk or help by making a financial donation. I’m also hoping that together, we can raise some money which will go towards making a difference in finding a cure for this terrible disease.

P.S. Did you know? Fundraising $300 can fund help provide healthy home-cooked meals for guests at a Canadian Cancer Society lodge during their stay. Lodge guests receive wholesome foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, and meals customized to their dietary needs – including those arising from cancer treatment, like liquid and soft food diets.
