Team TeeTee started in 2014 when I was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I am very proud to say that we have raised over $73,401 to date.

With the help, love and support from my family and friends, I made it through radiation, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, monthly injections and daily medication.

Unfortunately my immunotherapy treatment stopped working, so I was introduced to a new chemo drug called Enhertu, which I am currently still on. I consider myself quite lucky to be able to continue on this particular treatment plan, even though the side effects can be difficult at times. I don't have a choice - I will keep on fighting, and hope to hear after every CT scan that I am "stable".

I know that cancer has touched everyone in some way. Whether you know someone who has died from cancer, or is "living with cancer"- just know that your support is so appreciated. I try my best to stay positive and to keep the faith that the research being done will benefit us all in the future. I am thankful for my family and friends, who continue to be there for me every single day... I feel your positive energy.

I walk to raise awareness and to raise funds for Cancer Research. Please take a moment on October 6th to reflect and remember those who have lost their battle with Cancer, and for those who continue the fight.
