Every day, 70 Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.” On Thursday, November 28th, 2019, I was one of those Canadians.

With the exceptional support of my incredible family, friends, and medical team, I am able to support a cause that gave me hope and extended the time I have to see my kids grow up, hug my family, laugh with my hubby and take walks with my friends.

While Cancer warriors like me are living longer, healthier lives after a breast cancer diagnosis, there is still so much work to be done. 

I'm running in honour of the incredible people in my life and the many medical professionals and researchers working tirelessly to beat this disease.
