My name is Kelly and I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in August 2020.  I became a survivor the day I was diagnosed.  After 28 total rounds of chemo and 3 major surgeries, I no longer let fear stop me. Adverse side effects from my final chemo sessions affected my ability to walk for months, so it was my goal to participate in the 2022 Run for the Cure, exactly one year after all treatments were complete.  I am excited and ready to take on the 5 km run again for the third time on October 6th!
