This time is different. It’s sad. In 2022 we walked with hope. Di’s diagnosis was new and we were naive. In 2023 we walked scared. Reality had set in. 4 months later she was gone. This year we are walking again, but this time she won’t be with us. This time is different. It’s sad.

But we did promise her we’d continue to do it. We would do it for others and to hope for them. It’s also a chance for us to be together and celebrate the strong fighter she was. Together

We are running/walking on October 6th so someone else's sister, wife, mother, friend will have hope.
