To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. 

 

This year is my first run, and I will be running for my mother, Anita Ajodhia, who is a survivor of breast cancer. She was diagnosed in 2016 and completed her chemotherapy in that same year. She battled breast cancer without taking time off work, allowing myself and my brother to play sports and pursue an education without financial worry. Her ability to stay positive and perservere through many difficult times inspires me on a daily basis. She is our real-life example of a superhero. 

 

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
