My mom was one of the estimated 27,700 women that was diagnosed with breast cancer in Canada.  She was diagnosed with Stage 3B immflamatory breast cancer.  She lost her battle just 10mths after being diagnosed.  I run for my mom but I also run for myself.  As I am a participant of hope.  I have been deemed high risk.  I go for an MRI and mammogram once a year, early detection can make a world of difference. 

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 2, 2022.
