Wow!! Having breast cancer is a journey!! After almost 18 months of treatment, I have been adjusting to my new normal. I will never forget the day I came home after work to 5 missed calls, 2 voicemails and an email from my doctor. No one, not even my doctor predicted my fate. I was fortunate to have so many people help me during my battle and I will forever be grateful. I will be 6 months post treatment this year at the run. It was such an uplifting day last year and was exactly what I needed to keep me going for the finish line. This year it will be much quieter but it would mean the world to me to have you SUPPORT me again this year for the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2024. Please check your Ta ta’s and ALWAYS get something rechecked if you worried about it!
