Hi all

It's that time of year again.   Unfortunately I am extremely late setting up my fundraiser page.  A giant thank you to Serena, Sandy's youngest for lighting a fire under us.  We all seem to have such busy lives these days, but you know, this cause is so very important and we should not let it slip away. 

Its been 14 years since we have been participating in this run. 13 years since we lost an extraordinary individual, Sandy Friesen.  However her daughters and sisters and niece keeps us going.  

The most inspiring person I know, Julie, (Sandy's sister),  has beat breast cancer twice. However, there are many more who need our support.  We have some beautiful young ladies in our lives, Serena, Sasha, and Kalli who have been directly impacted by this decease. Our Sandy would have been the first one to stand up and do whatever she could to help those in need.  Sadly she is no longer with us, but she lives on through her beautiful daughters, Sasha and Serena.  The apple really does not fall far from the tree.  Sandy would be so proud of these girls and the people who continue to support them.

We do this each and every year for them, and other who could use our support.  We continue to honour Sandy's Legacy of compassion and caring for others. 

Money raised helps fund research, less invasive surgeries, and new treatments. Your help is needed and appreicated.
