Hello friends and family,

It is estimated that 30,500 Canadian women and 290 Canadian men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2024.

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2024. 

This will be my 4th year of walking in memory of my aunt and also to support my friends who have been affected by breast cancer.  Our team name is "Bosom Buddies" and we will appreciate your support!

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.  

Please donate today. I believe better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible. Together, we can give Canadians impacted by breast cancer a reason to have hope. We can help change the future for all!  

Here is a quick view of how far our donations will go:

• A $20 donation will provide a nutritious home cooked meal for someone who’s staying at a CCS lodge while travelling for breast cancer treatment.
• A $50 donation will provide a wig for a person with breast cancer who has lost their hair because of cancer treatment.
• A $100 donation will provide a night’s accommodation at a CCS lodge for someone who must travel for breast cancer treatment.
• A $150 donation will help fund Canada's best and brightest researchers investigating new ways to treat breast cancer.
• A $300 donation will help fund four clinical trials to test potentially life-saving treatments for people with breast cancer.
