MY STORY

I am running for my favourite person my Mom, Janet! I am running this year CIBC Run for the Cure with my sister Sarah!!

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. For the next seven years, she went through the hills and valleys of cancer treatments. In June of 2018, our mom passed away.

I will never forget that during all the joys and disappointments of her cancer journey, she never wavered in her strength, faith in Jesus or in selflessness to the people she loved.

She simply was the very best. The very best mom. The very best friend. The very best nurse. The very best hugger. She had very best laugh. She was very best prayer. She was very best listener.

I miss her endlessly.

I just feel thankful to be able to run the CBC run for the cure with Sarah. I feel so very thankful for all your support in advance. Thank you for always supporting our family and remembering our Mom with us!
