Cancer has touched our family in profound and heartbreaking ways. My wife, Tanis, fought bravely against this relentless disease for nearly two years before we lost her. Her courage and strength throughout her battle continue to inspire us every day. Melissa's mother also faced her own difficult fight with cancer, battling this terrible disease with courage and determination right to the end and together, we are participating in the CIBC Run for the Cure to honor the memories of both these incredible women.
