My Story

Things I didn’t know 3 years ago…1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer, how much chemotherapy actually sucks, and how amazing Canadian Cancer Society is. My cancer diagnosis changed my world in an instant but I have a wonderful support group of friends and family who walked with me on this journey. I want to thank everyone who has ever donated to the Canadian Cancer Society, you helped me in my time of need. From wigs to support groups to transportation to specialized treatment to experimental drugs, your donation impacted my life and I am so thankful for your help. 

I’m running with my team Hakuna-Ma-Tatas in the Canadian Cancer Society’s Run For The Cure October 2nd, 2022 and I would love your support.  I’m not just  a cancer survivor, I’m a cancer warrior,  a supporter, an advocate and I want to give back so I can help whoever may follow down this path.
