An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada. Our daughter Sandra was diagnosed in January 2021 and went through many different treatments.  We are so proud of Sandra, her courage, strength and determination.  She is a survivor! 

To show my support for our daughter, the women in our family, friends and all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

P.S. Did you know? Fundraising $300 can fund help provide healthy home-cooked meals for guests at a Canadian Cancer Society lodge during their stay. Lodge guests receive wholesome foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, and meals customized to their dietary needs including those arising from cancer treatment, like liquid and soft food diets.
