To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. 

 

As some of you may know our family has recently been effected by a diagnosis of breast cancer, thankfully our story ends with a happy ending, but that is not the case for roughly 5,500 families who experience great loss. That number is more then just a statistic, that number represents the loss of someones grandmother, mother, aunt, sister and friend. So I do not run for just one specific person I run for the hope that maybe one day no family has to experience loss at the hands of breast cancer. 

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
