This is my third time participating in the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

When I got the text from Maria that said "I know what you can do..." I was thrilled. It's not often that someone fighting cancer is brave enough to ask for help. What did she want? She wanted to raise as much darn money as possible to support breast cancer services and research in Canada, so that she, and the other 1 in 8's, will have more treatment options 5 years from now.
