My fundraising story began when my Mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer. She underwent a mastectomy and chemo and has survived for over 20 years. As an individual and with the help of family and friends we have donated and done fundraising for several years. 
On August 13 2021 my Mom was diagnosed with a Stage 4 giloblastnoma brain tumour. At that time she underwent surgery chemotherapy and radiation. The doctors gave her 7-9 months life expectancy! On October 6 2024 my Mom will be walking with us ! So even though this walk is for breast cancer my fundraising story is all about my Mom ! She is a strong determined woman and that's why I fundraise.
