On March 8, 2023 I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 39 years old.  The year that followed was more physically and emotionally difficult than I could have ever imagined it would be.  A year I'd like to forget for many reasons but also one I will always remember.  I will remember the huge outpouring of support from my friends, family and community.  I will remember the unbelievable care and compassion I received from doctors, nurses and everyone involved in my care.  I will remember the extremely supportive breast cancer community I became a part of.  I will remember how strong and lucky I am. 

For those who will embark on their own journey and those who's journey ends too soon, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.
