To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

My life changed with a diagnosis of Invasive Lobular Left breast cancer on July 27, 2023.

A phone call from my family physician that morning was one of the most devastating mornings of my life. Close to a year in, post surgery and Radiation (final treatment December 20,2023), I am awaiting imaging in August!

The fight never ends once diagnosed with cancer, ongoing preventative treatments, worries and anxiety! There are so many of my friends who have a loved one diagnosed with breast cancer, family members including my sister in law and cousin, also an Aunt who lost her fight to breast cancer.

The day I got my diagnosis, I made a promise I would join in Run For The Cure and fund raise to support all who have been affected by this horrible disease! I am grateful to all donors for their support and to my team members who have played a huge part to support me in this important fundraiser event

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
