Every day, 70 Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.” While these Canadians are living longer, healthier lives after a breast cancer diagnosis, there is still so much work to be done. 
By participating in this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure, I’m joining a collective that is a force-for-life in the face of breast cancer. 

This year's run will represent the 10th consecutive year of participation for our team.  In 2015, Team Goldsack was created, and I participated in my first Run for the Cure after finishing 4 (of 5) rounds of chemotherapy treatment.  This year, I will participate in another 5K run as a 10-year breast cancer survivor with the support of my family and friends who will be running/walking along with me.
