Once again, I am participating in the CIBC Run for the Cure 2024!  This will be my 21st year that I have been involved in raising money to help find a cure for breast cancer! 

I have been so blessed to have family, friends and co-workers that every year help with a cause that I feel very passionate about.  It is because of all your donations and the fundraising of my wonderful team that we have been so successful! 

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure is Canada's largest single day, volunteer-led fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, and education awareness programs.

Each year, thousands of Canadians of all ages and from all walks of life unite to participate in the Run. Their reasons for participating vary,  but they all have the same goal; to create a future without breast cancer.

In 2001 I lost my sister Barb Comeau to breast cancer.  She was 53 years old.  Since 2003 my  family have participated in the CIBC Run for the Cure in her memory. In the past 19 years our team has raised money with the help of our family and friends.  My niece Elaine is a breast cancer survivor and my niece Julie is currently having treatment for her breast cancer.  Please support our team "Barb's Beauties"  by making a donation under "Donate to Louise" and help me reach my personal goal and the goal of our Team.
