Statistics say that approximately 70 Canadians are diagnosed with breast cancer every single day. On January 27th, 2020, one of those seventy people was my Mom.

Thanks to regular screening due to her family history, early detection, and treatment, my Mom is cancer-free at the 4-year mark and living as a survivor.

This Fall, my Mom and I will once again be participating in the Run for the Cure to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society and breast cancer research.
