An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.

In memory of my mother, Marilynn, who we lost to breast cancer 10 years ago, I am participating and fundraising in my 11th Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2024.  I will be running with my daughter, Avery, and her team of Nursing students from UWO in London.

P.S. Did you know? Fundraising $300 can fund help provide healthy home-cooked meals for guests at a Canadian Cancer Society lodge during their stay. Lodge guests receive wholesome foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, and meals customized to their dietary needs – including those arising from cancer treatment, like liquid and soft food diets.
