In the year 2001, I lost my mom to breast cancer. This started a 20 year journey for our family of raising funds for Run for the Cure in hopes of changing outcomes for others down the road. 

This year I was diagnosed with breast cancer as well. Battling cancer has been the hardest thing I've ever encountered. I am two weeks away from accomplishing this task and very exciting to be moving forward from this experience and being known as a survivor!!
