Our Story

Once again, we are participating in the CIBC Run for the Cure 2024! This will be our 21st year that we have been involved in raising money to help find a cure for breast cancer.

We have been so blessed to have family, friends and co-workers that every year help with a cause that we feel very passionate about. It is because of all your donations and the fundraising of our wonderful team that we have been so successful!

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure is Canada's largest single day, volunteer-led fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, and education awareness programs.

Each year, thousands of Canadians of all ages and from all walks of life unite to participate in the Run. Their reasons for participating vary, but they all have the same goal; to create a future without breast cancer.

In 2001 we lost Barb Comeau to breast cancer. She was 53 years old and was a Mom, Mother-in-law, Sister, Daughter, Aunt , Grandmother and Friend. We now have two Team Members that have battled breast cancer. Elaine has been cancer free for over 10 years and Julie is currently having breast cancer treatment with a good prognosis. Since 2003 our family has participated in the CIBC Run for the Cure in Barb's memory and also now for Julie , Elaine and all women who have battled breast cancer. For 20 years our team has raised money with the help of our family and friends.
