25 years ago I participated in my first ever CIBC run for the Cure. I wanted to honour the beautiful life of my best friend's mother Veronica and with each year my team of just me and my now husband, grew with the addition of my best friends, families and our kids.

It's been 25 years and I have added my cousin, my 2 godmothers and several friends and coworkers to that list of people I am running for but 25 years later, these amazing women were diagnosed early and treated early as the world continues to look for a cure.

To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
