In 2019 my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, it was news changed everyone in our family. The following months after her diagnosis, my mom went through multiple surgeries and radiation treatment.  I am so happy to say that she conquered this and is living her best life now.  On October 2nd I'll be running 5k in support of her and all others who have battled and are currently battling cancer.

An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.
