On Sunday, October 2 2022  we will be participating in the 2022 Canadian Cancer Society, CIBC Run for the Cure.  The breast cancer cause is one that is very close to our hearts and we are proud to be working together to raise funds in support of it.  The CIBC Run for the Cure is Canada’s largest single-day, volunteer-led fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, education, and advocacy initiatives. 

Clinical trials are research studies that test new ways to prevent, detect, treat or manage cancer. Clinical trials provide information about the safety and effectiveness of new approaches to see if they should become widely available. Most of the standard cancer treatments used today were first shown to be effective through clinical trials such as the trial to study whether Vitamin D and melatonin can reduce the growth of cancer cells in women with breast cancer. Studies using cell cultures and animals have shown that Vitamin D can reduce the spread of cancer.
