To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure in memory of my dear friend Mic Choma.

We have called our team Mic's Magnets because she drew folks into her world with kindness, compassion and a crazy wonderful sense of humor. She inspired many!

I am inspired and although I am going through my own cancer journey right now and may not be able to do the full walk I set this goal before my diagnosis and all Mic would say is "you've got this". So, I am walking!
