To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

My mother in law invited me to join this team, Mic's Magnets, Mic was a dear friend of hers (and many others) and a force to be reckoned with. Mic battled long and hard and unfortunately lost her battle with breast cancer 5 years ago this September.

My mother in law wanted to remember her friend at this event despite the fact she's currently enduring her own cancer journey and there was no way I wasn't going to join her.
