When, I found out I had breast cancer, I remember thinking, couple of treatments and I will probably forget it ever happened. Since then, my mom was diagnosed, my girls were suggested to get tested for the gene, my good friend Julie has been fighting her battle and I have met so many others who have been affected.

I remember thinking this is a blip in my life story. Now, 17 chemo treatments, 20 radiations, & 4 surgeries (with one more on the way), cancer is always on my brain. It has stressed me and made me a better person. I have told cancer not today. I have a lot of life to go through and I am so blessed that I have the family, friends, doctors and community that I have in my life.
