I am back for another year of CIBC's Run for the Cure and this year, my brother, Martin, is joining me! 

In 2020, I was living the dream of working as a pediatric OT on a tropical island in paradise. I was scuba diving every week. That all changed when I discovered a lump in my breast during a self-exam. Long story short, I was diagnosed with stage 3 triple positive invasive ductal cancer at 31. My Caymanian chapter was over. I hopped on a plane to Canada and arrived home one week before Covid-19 was declared a pandemic. I received chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, radiation, and hormonal therapy. I have to take Tamoxifen for another 3 years.

 I am now in remission and that is partially thanks to generous donors such as yourself. The recent advances in breast cancer research saved my life. 

My goal this year is to raise $2500.

As an added bonus, for every $10 donated, I will cycle 1 km my Peloton to keep me accountable to my training for the run (pushing Martin in his wheelchair) and to contribute to my mental and physical well-being.
