This year I want to show my support to the many people that were diagnosed with Breast Cancer like myself.   With your help I can reach and surpass my fundraising goal.

A few of you might know that in December 2023, I went for my first mammogram.  Two days later I got a call to go back for a second xray, and ultra sound, and much to my surprise also a biopsy.  Within a couple days, it was confirmed that I had breast cancer.  

I felt blindsided in how I was told.  But in the same breath, I was thankful that it was found early and diagnosed quickly!  I told my family, and friends and was surrounded by so much love and well wishes throughout this journey.  I am grateful for my husband, daughter and parents, for being my suport system through this roller coaster of a journey these last eleven months.  Not to mention all the hugs!  I also want to thank friends and family that called to check in on me regularly.  Often you made my day, and got me through those hard days, with a laugh; when I was struggling to smile.  So thank you for that!  

Thank you for the doctors and nurses that support people like myself, seeing us when we aren't at our best and being there for us.
