The 2024 CIBC Run for the Cure is extra special to me since January 22nd, 2025 marks 10 years since the world went for a bit of a spin for me, my family & close friends. I was diagnosed with Stage 1A Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. I was a month away from turning 51.

To celebrate my 5 year Cancerversary I went Skydiving with my Best Friend by my side. I used the opportunity to have a fundraiser for Gilda’s Club Simcoe/Muskoka. It was a fantastic day!

Now to plan how to celebrate 10 years! How do I top jumping out of a perfectly good airplane?!

I’ve always believed that your only choice is to stay positive and keep your head up. Make future plans and don’t take a single day for granted. Do the things that challenge you & never look back.

That is why the CIBC Run for the Cure is so important to me. My story is just 1 of millions.
