In 2021, I was a healthy 38yr old woman diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. Thankfully I pushed to get checked when I felt only 1 of 3 lumps growing in both breasts. 

On Dec 3rd 2021, I had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstructive surgery.  On Dec 23rd, I got the best Christmas gift and was told by the surgeon that it didn’t spread to my lymph nodes, they got it all, and I was breast cancer free.

My lifelong mission is to spread awareness about breast cancer.  I want to women not to doubt themselves, to push to get checked and to take charge of their health so they can have a similar outcome I did.
