2 years ago I joined the estimated 27,700 women and 260 men who are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada. Since that time I have received incredible support from the many women who've journeyed this path ahead of me, so many friends and family and my longtime friend Ang who fought a similar battle alongside me.  Together, and with all our support, we made it through our testing, surgeries and treatments.  We are proud to be celebrating our survivorship and participating in the Run for the Cure for our second year in a row, along with the army of women and men who will come together to support each other and cancer research.

Please consider joining us for the Ottawa Run for the Cure event, on Sunday October 6, 2024.  Even if you don't live in Ottawa, you can join our team and run or walk in your own town! As we've said many times thoughout this journey, we are stronger together! 

Please donate today. The care I have received has been exceptional in no small part because of the ongoing work and research supported by the Canadian Cancer Society. And I believe there continue to be better treatment options and survival outcomes possible. Together, we can continue to give Canadians impacted by breast cancer a reason to have hope.
