Last year I participated in the CIBC Run for the Cure just weeks after learning that I had breast cancer. This year I get to participate cancer-free. I am incredible blessed, and I'm so grateful that fundraisers like this exist to help raise money for cancer research so that hopefully, in the future, more people will get to walk away from cancer like I did.

An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.

This year the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is on Sunday, October 6, 2023. Together, some of my friends and family will walk the 5km and raise money as a team to help fund breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
