I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. Canadian Cancer Society does vital work to help those affected by cancer.

I am lucky that my Mom, Diana, is able to walk with me. She was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and after her surgery is now cancer-free. I want others to experience the relief of knowing their loved one is cancer-free. Through funding for research we can not only improve survival rates but also PREVENT breast cancer. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have breast cancer affect less than 1 in 8 Canadians?
