Once again, this year I will be participating in the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on October 6th.

I know firsthand the affects of cancer as my mom is a survivor, or as we like to say thriver of this disease. The treatment and support she our family and others I know received is a direct result of money raised from events like this, so my involvement every year is a no-brainer. I know my story is not unique, this year alone, an estimated 28,600 Canadians will be diagnosed with breast cancer. By participating in the Run for the Cure, we contribute to the critical funding needed for innovative research, improved treatments, and vital support for those impacted by cancer.

The Run for the Cure is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a chance to get out into the communities we help shape and make a real difference. Whether you walk, run, or simply donate, every action counts. Joining together, we can inspire hope and change lives, one step at a time!
