I found out my mom had breast cancer in February 2022. It was shocking.  Thankfully, it was caught early enough that she is healthy right now. I’m hoping if it ever returns, treatments will be more advanced and more lives will be saved. I understand how scary an illness this is and how many others have lost a mother, sister, friend to it.    I’m running this race for the millions of people who have been affected by breast cancer.
