Year 15 of Team BAHFOC participating in the Run for the Cure!  This marks my 14th run and 14 years since I was diagnosed with cancer, underwent a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation treatment.  I am forever grateful to the wonderful medical professionals that helped me along my journey and for my super strong support group of family and friends.  Since then too many friends have been also affected by this disease. The run provides me with a way to give back, after my own treatment, but is also just an incredibly emotional and positive experience. As always, I will also be running for my mother who lost her courageous battle with breast cancer 20 years ago.
