To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

when I was 16 years old I lost my mother to breast cancer. She had it for the first time in early 2000’s and defeated it only for it to come back 8 years later. She was the strongest women I know. On April 24th, 2012, she couldn’t fight any more and passed away.
The name of the team , The Gras, was an inside joke with my mom and siblings

The CIBC Run For The Cure. Is important to me and I believe by raising funds will help with better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible. Together, we can give Canadians impacted by breast cancer a reason to have hope. And we can help change the future for all.
