In December 2021, in the middle of the pandemic, it hit us, I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. I jumped into treatment with all that I had. Right before my first run they discovered brain metastasis, I did not know if I was going to see the end of the year. I was lucky and it responded to treatment. Unfortunate in may 2023 it came back in my lymph nodes, not only triple negative but inflammatory not only was it back but it was most agressive form  and the harder to control. I was again lucky it responded to another chemo regimen and I am now on continuous treatment which keeps things stable for now. We need research and we need more treatment NOW to give us a fighting chance.
