Stupid Boob Squad

We have come together as a team to support the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year.

We are participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure, because we believe better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible. And we want to support all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, including our family and friends.

With your help, we can reach our fundraising goal and fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease. Together, we can create a future without breast cancer.

We wanted to share 10 facts with you.

1. Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) is Stage IV breast cancer.2. MBC is the only deadly form of breast cancer. If you know anyone who has died of breast cancer, it was MBC.3. Only 2-5% of ALL breast cancer research funding is dedicated to MBC.4. Women who are diagnosed with breast cancer at stage 0, 1, 2, or 3 and deemed cured, have a 30% risk of recurrence (MBC) years or even decades later. When it comes back, it is Stage IV.5. There is no cure for MBC.6. 115 women die everyday from MBC.7. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide and the most common cancer diagnosed in American women.8. Women are diagnosed with MBC as early as in their twenties. 9. In 2022 2.3 MILLION women were diagnosed with breast cancer and 670,000 died.10. The five year survival for MBC is 22%.If even ONE of these facts shocked, moved, frustrated or saddened you- please consider being a part of my team, or donating to help fund life-changing research!

Please donate today. Help us give Canadians impacted by breast cancer a reason to have hope.

Thank you! We appreciate your generous support.
