My Avó, Tia Cid, and Tia Bella have all had breast cancer and my Avó passed away in 2016 from it. I miss her a lot and want to help make sure that other kids don't lose their grandmas to breast cancer. This will be my 9th year participating with my mom, though it's my 6th year helping to raise funds and actually run/walk (my mom brought me to runs when I was still young enough to be in a stroller). 

Every day, 75 Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.” While these Canadians are living longer, healthier lives after a breast cancer diagnosis, there is still so much work to be done.

By participating in this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure, I am helping change the future of breast cancer. I am running in honour of the incredible people in my life, and I need your support!
