  • Linda's Lefty (and Righty)
  • In 2019 my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer on her first routine mammogram. She then had a mastectomy, postop infections, a partial reconstruction, and many rounds of antibiotics.  She was then diagnosed with breast cancer again, this time in the right side. Again, mum went through a mastectomy with reconstruction that ultimately did not work, resulting in multiple additional surgeries, postop infections with multiple courses of antibiotics and more! Through it all mum has remained strong, active, and full of life. 

    I started Team Linda's Lefty in 2019, and we have participated in the Run each year (except for one!).  This year we hope to break our team record and raise $2500. 

    With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease. 
     
    Please donate today. I believe better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible. Together, we can give Canadians impacted by breast cancer a reason to have hope. And we can help change the future for all.
